This critical role supports our local programs across the Middle East by sourcing and recruiting exceptional global and local talent.
The Role
As a Talent Scout, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our innovation programs by identifying and recruiting the best talent to support our initiatives. You will work closely with program teams to understand their specific needs, building a pipeline of exceptional candidates, including entrepreneurs, founders, co-founders, and program team members. This role requires strong networking skills, a deep understanding of the regional talent landscape, and a passion for fostering connections that drive impact.
Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and recruit top-tier global and local talent to participate in Wykco’s innovation programs in the Middle East.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, including founders, co-founders, entrepreneurs, and technical experts.
Collaborate closely with local Program Teams to understand talent requirements and align sourcing efforts.
Develop partnerships with universities, accelerators, incubators, and other talent networks to expand recruitment channels.
Conduct outreach, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ fit for specific roles and programs.
Organize and participate in networking events, workshops, and meetups to connect with potential candidates.
Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions and pipeline progress.
Provide regular updates to regional leadership on talent acquisition efforts and challenges.
Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
Proven track record of sourcing and recruiting top-tier talent, preferably in the Middle East.
Strong networking skills and experience building relationships with talent networks and organizations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals.
Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Familiarity with recruitment tools, platforms, and best practices.
Comfortable working in a remote-first hybrid environment, with flexibility to attend in-person meetings and events as needed.
Based in the UAE.
