We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and streamline our financial functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all operations.
The Role
As a Finance Manager, you will manage Wykco’s financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, financial controls, capital calls, and invoicing. You’ll work closely with the FP&A function to support strategic planning and ensure financial stability as we scale globally. This role is vital to ensuring that Wykco’s financial processes align with our growth and operational goals.
Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including internal bookkeeping, payroll processing, and expense management.
Develop and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance and accuracy across all financial functions.
Collaborate with the FP&A function to provide insights into budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Manage capital calls, invoicing, and payment processes for our programs, ventures, and global operations.
Prepare and present financial reports to leadership, ensuring transparency and actionable insights.
Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure timely reconciliations.
Implement and optimize financial systems and tools to improve efficiency.
Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance across all regions.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in financial management or a related role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
Proven experience in financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial controls.
Strong understanding of capital call processes and invoicing functions.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and regions.
Ability to work effectively in a remote-first hybrid environment, with occasional in-person collaboration.
Based in South Africa.
